Taiwanese Milk Tea — Familiar Comfort
Share
Some teas carry stories of home. For many, Taiwanese milk tea recalls warm afternoons, shared laughter, and the comforting sound of ice clinking against glass.
It’s a recipe rooted in togetherness — creamy, fragrant, and deeply nostalgic.
How to Brew
- Add: One or two MONO + Craft tea sachets to a pot or mug.
- Pour: Hot water at 90°C.
- Steep: For 5–10 minutes, allowing the tea to deepen.
- Mix: Add ice, fresh milk or cream, and a touch of sugar to taste.
Tip
Avoid squeezing the sachet — let the leaves release their flavour naturally.
From Pooi, Adelaide:
“My mum used to make milk tea after school in Taiwan, and when I moved to Australia, I missed that flavour so much. This blend brings it back perfectly — rich but not heavy. It feels like home, even when I’m far away.”
A sip of this tea feels like coming home — simple, soothing, and full of heart.
